The lonely cat
I have just posted pictures of my daughters over at their blog, if you are at all interested. Meanwhile, here is Smokey:
He does this occasionally. Whenever he does we call him Heathcliff, because he is Heathcliff looking out over the moors in Wuthering Heights. Oh, what a tortured soul has my cat!

I like that picture of Smokey. I like the Heathcliff reference too. Very funny. Stoker and I recently watched Jane Eyre and then we talked about the Brontes. He asked me if he'd like Wuthering Heights, but I personally like Jane Eyre better. Right now he's reading The Spire by William Golding -- he likes dark novels, so maybe he'd dig Wuthering Heights.
AND, to top it all off, I used to have a cat named Smokey. I debated naming Bastet, Smokey, because she's obviously the right color for it. But she's more a Bastet than a Smokey.
I like Jane Eyre, but Wuthering Heights is really good. So weird and moody.
