My Super Bowl prediction
Why not? I have as good a chance as any of the "experts."
Seattle 30, Pittsburgh 20.
Before my vast number of Steelers fans start ranting, I will say I do not care in the least who wins this game, nor would I mind at all if Pittsburgh wins, nor will I be surprised if Pittsburgh wins this game. However, the Steelers have played basically seven straight playoff games, and I think it's going to catch up to them. In terms of talent, the teams are about equal. Both quarterbacks are good, the running games are good, the receivers are decent, the defenses are good ... So why am I picking the Seahawks? The offensive line. They have the best offensive line in the league, and this will allow Alexander to gain yardage and allow Hasselbeck to throw. I have a feeling that Seattle will get ahead early, a situation the Steelers haven't dealt with recently. Then they won't be able to grind it out, and they won't be able to come back.
Of course, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Steelers did the same thing as they have done in the playoffs - get up by a couple of touchdowns and then give it to Bettis and pound the Seahawks down. I just have a feeling it's going to go the other way. We'll see.
