The decline of western civilization

I took Mia to her first dentist appointment today. All was well - her teeth are sparkling and pristine. However, while I was there I noticed the sign inside the elevator, which bespeaks volumes about why our civilization is going straight down the toilet:

This makes me sad. If you don't know what's wrong with it, then you make me sad.

* By the way, you notice I said "today" I took Mia to the dentist. And today this picture appears. That's right, suckers, I got a digital camera for Christmas and I aim to use it to bring you all the inanity this world has to offer! Look out! Posted by Picasa

...and it only took me until February 1st to figure out how to use it! ;)

Yeah, you're pretty funny there, tough guy. We had a bunch o' film left from our other camera, and I wanted to use it all up. Krys thought I was weird, but she always does. So I took pictures with the old one before breaking out the digital one. Looks like you're gonna need a beatin' next time I see you.

Yeah, that is pretty sad there about that sign, Greg. I mean, we all know the certifcates are kept in suite 102. Sheeeesh.

I will have to look up the one with the guys painting the "SCHOOL" letters on the street in a school zone... that one is even more priceless.

Man, I'm freaking out in advance over having to take ours to the dentist. How long can you wait? High school?

Nik - it was actually pretty easy, because we take good care of her teeth. The dentist just checked her out - it took about three minutes. She didn't like it, but it wasn't anything bad. I suppose if we continue to take good care of them, the visits won't be too bad.
