Go view pictures of my daughter, plus something to make you angry and something to alleviate your anger

Yes, I am directing you to my other blog. You see, I just posted pictures of my daughters at my other blog, and as my daughters are the most beautiful children in the world, you really should check out my other blog so you can gaze at their loveliness. So you might want to jump over to my other blog for a moment.

After you check out the pictures, you'll be needing to get nice and angry, so I suggest you go read this post by my pal Roxy. Remember my two rants about my former school. Roxy is talking about the same one. If you don't read her blog, I will keep you updated on the fate of her husband, who got in trouble with the administration because he called 911 when a pregnant student of his started bleeding. See? You should read the whole post and get the context. It will make you grumpy.

But you don't want to be grumpy for long, so then you should go visit What If Fox News Had Been Around Throughout History? Check them all out! Here's an example of the photoshopped goodness:

As with most hilarious twisted stuff I link to, I got this from Tom Peyer. Somebody in the comments linked to more examples:

This one, of course, is near and dear to my heart, given the name of this blog.

So there you have it: cuteness, anger, hilarity. It's all about the roller coaster of emotions here at Delenda Est Carthago, people!

The pictures of your daughter made me angry. Then Roxy's story made me happy. But now you left me angry again because you showed me those funny pictures, damn you.

If there's a bad Photoshop of the crucifixion, I haven't seen it.

HA, Afe!

I'm still fuming. But the Fox news and CNN fake pics made me laugh out loud this morning!

:+)

Oh - and I must make a comment about the word verification I must do "jrrektdr". It looks like Jerek Teder - doesn't it?

That web site is awesome. Did you watch the "Colbert Factor" on Comedy Central? Pretty funny sendup of the O'Reillyisms.

Ah, Afe - that's why you live in the Antipodes.

I watched some of The Colbert Report, Nik, and it was pretty funny. I'll have to see if it keeps up the quality of The Daily Show.

Isn't Kayne West almost as good as he thinks he is?

Adorable daughters, funny pictures and THAT STORY REALLY DID PISS ME OFF!! I've been giving alot of thought to racism and classism in this country, as well as our country's history of either not educating minority populations (e.g. it was ILLEGAL to educate slaves back in the day) or providing such poor public education that it may as well be none. And it continues today. Before going to law school, I did sex ed (the REAL kind, with condom demos), mostly working with a predominantly black & latino high school (unofficially & off campus, of course, because the school district denied us but the faculty & staff were helpful). The school had lots of problems with gangs, dating violence, sexual assault, drugs and even students killed on campus. Last year they had a new principal who was working to instill pride & really cared about the kids. He made it a policy for all the administrators to be OUT OF THEIR OFFICES, interacting with the students during school hours. Things were improving, but the school district got rid of him this year. Figures.

OK, so I had to send your post to Randy pasted into Word since his employer says your blog site contains adult content and blocked it on his computer. But more to the point of the comment, I can't believe you missed the wedding! I just can't believe it! (Nobody thought to call you at 3:05 or 3:10?) Nonetheless, the was really great to see you over the weekend. It's been too long. -Kelli
