Should I be posting a new chapter every day?
I just posted another chapter of the novel. Read it here! And for those who didn't read my comments about the first chapter, yes, I am dating them from the end of the month so that Chapter One always stays at the top. Just page down to find more chapters. This is so people new to the party (I know, inexcusable) can read from the beginning. Anyway, I wasn't quite sure if I should post it. I decided to end it where it did, even though it didn't feel finished. It still ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, but not where I wanted. It was pretty long, though - longer than the first chapter, and I just thought I should break it down to more manageable portions, because I care about you, the good reading public. The question is: everyone I've been reading (the list is below) have posted the first two days. But that's not necessary, is it? All that matters is that I get through 50,000 words in 30 days. I'm on my way - 5613 words so far, meaning I only have 44387 to go. Go me. But I have had an epiphany, good people: I don't have to post a chapter a day. I'm going to try, but I don't have to. So maybe tomorrow you'll get a new chapter, but maybe not. Aren't I just a tease?
Anyway, here are some other cool people who are blogging their novels:
Layne's Ben Hecht Is Everywhere
Jason's Complex
Kelly's Grace Winters - Private Investigator
Joshua's The Miller
Roxy's novel. Roxy doesn't believe in naming her novels, apparently.
Anyone else out there doing their novel on-line? I'd like to read as many as I can, even though that may drive me insane.

I don't have a title yet - I will. I came up with a name for the first and second chapters - give me a break.
Woah, you actually read them? I just link to them and skim. I read enough unedited work in my day-to-day.
I don't have a job, Jason. I can read them even though the kids keep me busy. I don't know if I'll be able to keep up with them, however!
